NO CAMERAS BACK YET. sad, really. but, in an effort to keep them moving, if you got a camera, Fill Out this Form!. Actually, you should wait until you've given it away. then, you should tell the person who you gave the camera to do the same thing.
The project has started. I gave frisco a camera, dropped 10 or so in the mail and I have 3 more I'm going to hand out to people. Hopefully I get some back! heres who I mailed to: ernie, blake, rachael, natalie, daniel, debbie, dawn, sahar. I have 6 more cameras for this first batch. at least three more I'm handing out to people. each camera I mail costs me a total of $13 dollars broken down like this:1.00 envelopes (.50 x 2) 3.00 postage (around 1.50 x 2) 5.00 camera (this is the max I've paid. picked up some for 2.25 each) 4.00 developing the picturesthats just a rough estimate. I think if I get any cameras back it will be well worth it.
Heres what i'm doing. I'm mailing a disposable camera to one of my friends, instructing them to take a picture that includes a human being, then taking that camera and giving it to someone else that doesn't know me. and then have that person do the same thing. giving the camera to someone who doesn't know the person who gave it to them. then, when the camera is done, they can mail the camera back to me , in an envelope that I've provided.
I'm sure I'm not the first person to think of this, but I haven't seen it out there before. My biggest fear is that the cameras won't come back. Hopefully that doesn't happen.
